Event Spotlight: FPTV Rippies

What inspired you to create this event? What should people know about it?

“The Rippies were created by Sean the Don to highlight drone pilots from around the globe. To honor Sean’s legacy, FPTV is proud to present the 4th Annual Rippies.

This video award show celebrates FPV drone pilots and consists of 13 categories. Sean’s goal was to give everyone a chance to take home a Rippie by basing it in the community and having them decide the winners. Winners will be announced live in person, streamed on Youtube and awarded with a Rippie Trophy & a prize compiled from our sponsors.  

FPTV is a very grassroots community started by my late husband who got into the hobby of flying drones. The community has welcomed me with open arms and continued his legacy and dream of the Rippies.

RSVPify has helped make his dream come true by making ticket sales possible. Pilots are from all around the world. Sales came from the UK and Canada as well as all over the US. Your site is also user friendly and I enjoy working with it.”
