Event Spotlight: Sustainability Summit
What inspired you to create this event? What should people know about it?
The event is aimed at creating change at a city-wide and political level to become more environmentally-conscious. Targetted to an audience of key city decision-makers, the event hopes to launch and/or build support for two major projects: Cafeteria Plastic Reduction Project and Trash Pickup Tracking App. This is our first time hosting this event!
What should people know about your organization?
This event is supported by three organizations, Coppell Eco Club, Dallas Sierra Club, and Meaningful Movies Project. All three organizations focus on social justice work, with Coppell Eco Club winning best Eco Club in the state of Texas
