Event Spotlight: Phoenix Performance Foundation

Tell us about your event:

"Phoenix Performance Foundation conducts the annual Phoenix Percussion Composition Competition. This is an invitation zoom event to congratulate this years' winning composer and premier the video of the 2025 winning solo marimba piece. Composer and performer of "Luminescence" will attend. This is the second year we have hosted the Phoenix Percussion Composition Competition. This is the first Zoom Event we have hosted to congratulate the winning composer and share the video of the winning piece. We had a concert for the first winning composer and piece in 2025. I used RSVPify for that concert too."

What else should folks know about your event or organization?

"The Phoenix Performance Foundation was organized primarily for the purpose of encouraging the creation of new music composition and performance. The Phoenix Percussion Composition Competition honors the memory of Gregory Andrew Paroulek, percussion and composition student at the University of Delaware, by encouraging and supporting composition and performance of new works for percussion from around the world. We are passionate about bringing new music into the world!"
