Event Spotlight: Burns Suppers
What inspired you to create this event? What should people know about it?
Burns Suppers are traditional Scottish affairs held in January around poet Robert Burns’ birthday. There are a ton of traditions around the event, but generally speaking, it’s a formal event with Scottish attire, music, food, and poetry readings.
As for Siren City Pipe Band, we are Virginia’s premiere competition pipe band and serve our community through musical performance and piping and drumming education via our Youth Piping & Drumming program, as well as our educational band, City of Norfolk Pipe Band.
