We're rolling out comprehensive event security controls and enhanced email campaign capabilities, giving organizers the tools to protect sensitive event data, prevent unauthorized access, and create more engaging pre-event communications- all without technical complexity or manual oversight.
With this release, RSVPify addresses these gaps with a suite of security features and email enhancements designed to give you complete control over event access and communication.
Password Protection adds an extra authentication layer by requiring a password to access your event website and RSVP form. Only guests with the password can view event details or submit registrations—ideal for surprise parties, confidential corporate meetings, or any event where public visibility isn't appropriate.
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for Registrations verifies that the person registering or modifying an RSVP actually owns the email address being used. RSVPify sends a verification code to the provided email before allowing registration submission or response modification. This prevents unauthorized edits and fraudulent registrations, especially valuable for events collecting sensitive personal information or high-stakes gatherings where you need confidence in attendee identity.
Duplicate Email Prevention is now enabled by default, automatically blocking multiple registrations using the same email address. This eliminates accidental duplicate entries, keeps attendee data clean, and simplifies headcount management. You can disable this setting to allow multiple guests to register under a single email address when needed—useful for families, couples, or teams who prefer to use one shared email.
Domain-Based Registration Restrictions let you restrict event access to specific email domains (e.g., @company.com, @university.edu), ensuring only employees, students, or organization members can register. This eliminates the need to pre-populate guest lists for corporate events, internal trainings, or educational webinars while maintaining tight access control.
New Email Campaign Blocks enhance your event communications with embedded maps and formatted agendas. The Map Block displays event locations directly in emails, making it easier for guests to plan transportation. The Agenda Block presents event schedules in a clean layout, ensuring consistency between your website and email communications - perfect for multi-session conferences, training programs, or any event where guests need schedule visibility before arriving.
Automated Attendance Reminders let you set up time-based automated reminders for guests who have confirmed their attendance. Automatically send reminders 48 hours before the event with parking details, or morning-of reminders with final agendas—all triggered based on attendance status to ensure only confirmed guests receive them.
Security settings are located in Event Settings > Security, where you can configure password protection, multi-factor authentication, duplicate email prevention, and email domain restrictions independently based on your event's needs.
The new Map Block and Agenda Block are available in the email campaign builder when creating or editing any email campaign.
Automated attendance reminders are configured in Event Settings > Outbound emails.
