About the Role

We’re looking for a QA Engineer who thinks critically about quality – not just someone who writes tests, but someone who asks the right questions before tests are even needed.

You’ll be the dedicated QA voice on a collaborative, cross-functional product team. That means partnering daily with engineers, product managers, and designers – reviewing specs together, flagging risks in planning, and making sure quality is everyone’s concern, not just yours. You won’t be working in isolation; you’ll be embedded in the team’s workflow from day one.

What makes this role different is how we think about QA in 2026. We expect you to use AI tools – not as a novelty, but as a genuine force multiplier. Whether that’s generating test scenarios, accelerating exploratory coverage, drafting bug reports, or building smarter automation pipelines, we want someone who’s already figured out how AI fits into a modern QA workflow and is actively pushing that boundary.

This is a startup environment – priorities shift, context matters, and good judgment is more valuable than rigid process.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with engineering, product, and design throughout the development cycle – from spec review and risk identification to release sign-off, so quality is built in, not bolted on
  • Evaluate new features, bug fixes, and releases with a critical eye – understanding business impact and user risk, not just checking requirements
  • Build and maintain focused automated tests for the workflows that matter most, using modern frameworks against a real production-grade SaaS product
  • Actively use AI tools to accelerate your workflow – scenario generation, exploratory testing support, test data creation, automation scaffolding, and beyond
  • Own regression strategy and release readiness decisions, with full team visibility and support
  • Write clear, actionable bug reports that drive fast resolution across the team
  • Help establish and evolve QA processes, coverage strategy, and tooling as the team grows – your input shapes how we build

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of hands-on QA experience in a software product environment
  • Strong exploratory testing instincts – you find the bugs automation misses
  • Solid test automation experience with modern frameworks and web applications
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools in a QA or engineering context – you’ve gone beyond the demos and built real workflows around them
  • Clear written communication and sharp bug reporting that engineers actually want to read
  • Comfort with ambiguity – you can prioritize your own work when requirements aren’t perfectly defined
  • A practical sense for risk and coverage tradeoffs
  • Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and how QA fits into a delivery pipeline

Nice to Have

  • Experience in SaaS or a product-led growth environment
  • Familiarity with shift-left practices – design reviews, early test planning, pre-development risk workshops
  • Experience building or contributing to AI-augmented QA tooling (custom agents, prompt pipelines, MCP integrations, etc.)
  • Background collaborating as the primary QA on a cross-functional product team

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation
  • Real ownership – you’ll shape QA strategy alongside the team, not just execute someone else’s vision
  • Direct impact on a product used by thousands of organizations globally
  • A collaborative team that treats QA as a first-class engineering discipline
  • Flexible, remote-friendly environment
