Event Spotlight: Lite Bites + Comedy Night
Tell us about your event:
“This is a comedy night with the proceeds going to benefit the 5th District AHEPA Cancer Research Foundation. The foundation awards grants to medical research institutions and scientists, and has helped fund research that has led to new ways to identify and treat cancer. This is the inaugural event.”
What should folks know about your organization?
“The Mission of the Daughters of Penelope (DOP) and Ahepa is to promote Hellenism, Education, Philanthropy, Civic Responsibility, Family and Individual Excellence. Aside from the many charities that the District 5 DOP and AHEPA support, the 5th District Cancer research foundation is committed to funding research that can identify and cure cancer. Our group is committed to supporting this worthy cause.“
