We are looking for a Manual and Automation QA Engineer who is passionate about ensuring the reliability and performance of our products.

Role Overview

As a Manual and Automation QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our development process. You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing quality assurance practices to ensure the reliability and performance of our software applications. Familiarity with Cypress is essential, as you will leverage this tool to develop automated testing solutions and enhance our QA processes. Your expertise will help us maintain high standards and drive continuous improvement in our software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities 

Manual Testing

• Perform exploratory testing to identify potential issues and ensure the application meets user expectations.

Automation Testing

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing.

Collaboration

• Work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on testing strategies.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospective.

Documentation

• Document test plans, test cases, and test results clearly and concisely.
• Report and track defects using the appropriate tools.

Quality Assurance

• Identify areas for process improvement in testing practices.
• Contribute to the development of best practices for testing and quality assurance.

Qualifications

Experience

• 1-4 years of experience in software testing (both manual and automation).
• Hands-on experience with Cypress for automated testing.
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with SQL databases.
• Experience in testing APIs using tools like Postman or similar.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in writing and executing test cases.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools.
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript for test script development.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
