Event Spotlight: Timoteo Show Your Sneakers Banquet

Tell us about your event:

“Timoteo “Show Your Sneakers” Banquet and Fundraiser, celebrating our youth, coaches, and community partners. This event honored our Coaches of the Year and MVP’s across all leagues, including our first MVP for the young ladies’ volleyball club. This was our third annual banquet and fundraiser

What else should folks know about your event/organization:

“Timoteo Philadelphia, Inc. (Timoteo Sports) is dedicated to serving youth aged 5 to 18 across Philadelphia, with a special focus on the city’s most challenging neighborhoods. Using sports such as flag football, basketball, and volleyball, Timoteo engages both male and female youth, offering mentorship and impactful connections. While sports provide a vital recreational outlet, Timoteo’s mission goes further by offering holistic support. This includes faith-based guidance, academic enrichment, career path exploration, mentoring, counseling, and personal development. Timoteo’s approach is deeply rooted in understanding the daily struggles faced by these youth, which enables the organization to provide tailored, effective support and foster lasting positive change.
