INCIDENT REPORT
Around 12:10 PDT, an issue impacting the performance of one of RSVPify’s servers required us to restart this unit. Upon restart, the server experienced issues connecting to our events database — causing affected users to be unable to view and access their registered events for about 30 minutes’ time.

While the ability to access events was lost during this period, all event and RSVP information is currently safe and secure, and you should now be able to access your event(s) without problem.

We are working with our hosting provider to further determine the root cause of this issue. At the moment, all user functions appear to be working again as normal – but please do let us know if you experience continued issues accessing any RSVPify services.

Maintenance Notice
At approximately 2:30 AM CDT this evening (morning of March 26th) we’ll be performing server upgrades across the application. During this time, users will experience periods of application unavailability.  We expect all upgrades to be complete by 4:30 AM CDT, and expect to resume normal operations at that time. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience that this may cause.

INCIDENT REPORT
At approximately 1:20 PM Central time, our firewalls detected unusual traffic involving connections with our mail servers. As a result, the firewall pro-actively began denying traffic to and from our mail servers, resulting in the inability for some of our user’s events to send email notifications.

As a result, not only did some guests/hosts not receive email notification of a successful RSVP, but in some cases may have also received an error message on submit of their RSVP — even though the RSVP was successfully submitted and processed.  Guests seeing this error may have tried to submit their RSVP again using the “back” button, resulting in duplicate RSVPs received.

We’ve investigated and patched the issue, but duplicate RSVPs may be present for your event.  To solve this, you can use the ‘trash can icon’ to delete any repeat RSVPs. Alternatively, if you provide the name(s) of guests with duplicate RSVPs, we’d be happy to solve this for you.

We greatly appreciate the trust and confidence that you’ve put in RSVPify to handle RSVPs for your special event, and sincerely apologize for the issue and subsequent inconvenience. We are working diligently to further identify and understand the root cause so that we can ensure this doesn’t happen again.

If you have any other questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at any time.  Thanks again for choosing RSVPify.

INCIDENT REPORT

Update 1:30 PM PT: While some users from certain ISPs are still reporting connectivity issues, the majority of users appear to be back online. If you’re still not able to access RSVPify or other websites, we’d expect the issue to also be resolved by your ISP shortly.

Update 9:15 AM PT: Some users continue to experience access issues. For more detail and for continued updates, please refer to https://twitter.com/LiquidWeb

8:30 AM PT: We’re receiving reports that AT&T, Comcast and several other major ISPs are experiencing network issues this morning as a result of scheduled maintenance. These outages are affecting some user’s ability to access RSVPify as well as some other leading websites.

While we don’t have an ETA from these providers, we imagine full network services will be restored shortly. In the meantime, if you need to make an urgent update, we recommend accessing RSVPify from a different internet connection or your mobile device.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team.
